Rate Plan Terms for Caprock Cellular GSM

Wireless service is subject to credit approval. Promotional offerings may require a new service agreement.
Activation Fee: A $25.00 Non-Refundable Activation Fee is required for each new activation.
Service Charge: A $5.00 Service Charge may apply to any subsequent change to a customer’s account.
Early Termination Fee: If service is terminated prior to completion of service agreement, a non-prorated $200 Early Termination Fee applies.

Return Policy:

If you have your receipt and your phone is returned within fourteen (14) days in like-new condition, with all components and packaging in the original box, (the phone must be undamaged and in new saleable condition) the early termination fee will be waived. All other charges apply. Any refund will be credited to your account.
Minute Increment Billing and Usage: Airtime and other measured usage are billed in full-minute increments, actual airtime and usage are rounded up to the next full-minute at the end of each call for billing purposes. Calls placed on networks served by other carriers may take longer to be processed, and billing for those calls may be delayed. Those calls will be applied against your plan minutes in the month in which the calls appear on your bill. Airtime charges apply from the time you press SEND to the time you press END. Unanswered outgoing calls of 30 seconds or longer incur airtime. Prices are subject to change. Calling plan prices do not include taxes and other fees. Minutes will be depleted according to usage in the following order: Mobile to Mobile Minutes, Night and Weekend Minutes, and Anytime Minutes.
Night and Weekends: Nights are from 7:00 p.m. to 6:59 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Weekend minutes are from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Night and Weekend minutes only apply to calls placed or received on the Caprock Cellular network.

Service Area and Usage:

Caprock does not guarantee availability of the network. Caprock reserves the right to terminate your service or change your rate plan. Fifty percent of all plan minutes should be on the Caprock Cellular Network. Minutes used while off of the Caprock Cellular Network which exceed 50% of plan minutes will be billed at 20¢ per minute. All minutes exceeding plan will be billed at 20¢ per minute. Customers must use a wireless GSM dual-band approved handset programmed with Caprock’s preferred roaming database.
Removal of Features and Caller ID Blocking: Your wireless number on outbound calls will be displayed to other wireless and landline phones with Caller ID capability. To deactivate or reactivate this and/or other features, refer to your phone manual.

Mobile to Mobile Minutes:

Mobile to Mobile Minutes apply when making or receiving calls to/from any other Caprock customer while on the Caprock Cellular network. Mobile to Mobile minutes included in the plan only apply between Caprock customers.

Toll Free Long Distance includes calls made from the continental USA to locations within the continental USA. Calls to International Destinations will be billed at applicable rates. International calling may or may not be allowed when traveling beyond the Caprock Cellular Network.

Service Coverage and Maps:

Caprock Coverage Maps depict an approximation of coverage. Maps may include areas served by unaffiliated carriers and may depict their licensed area rather than an approximation of the coverage area. Actual coverage area may differ substantially from map graphics, and coverage may be affected by such things as terrain, weather, foliage, buildings, other construction, signal strength, customer equipment and other factors. The Caprock Cellular Network and Nationwide Coverage Area are terms designated by Caprock to define its calling areas for different wireless plans and in no way indicate wireless coverage availability in all portions of the designated area. We do not guarantee you uninterrupted service or coverage. Airtime and other service charges apply to all calls, including involuntarily terminated calls. We cannot assure you that if you place a 911 call you will be found.
Other Conditions: Caprock does not guarantee availability of the network. Certain features will not be available in all areas at all times. In the event that the conditions of the Rate Plan as described above are violated, Caprock may move subscriber to another calling plan or terminate customer’s service. Caprock may change any terms, conditions, rates, fees, expenses, or charges regarding your service at any time. We will provide you with notice of such changes (other than changes to governmental fees, proportional charges for governmental mandates, roamer rates or administrative charges) either in your monthly bill or separately. Caprock makes no warranty, expressed or implied, of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, suitability or performance regarding any services or goods herein offered. Voice Mail:

Voice Mail is an optional feature, provided upon customer’s request. Customer is responsible for selecting their Voice Mail password and keeping a copy of password in a safe location. In case of password loss, there will be a Service Charge to reset Voice Mail to the default setting. You may be charged for both an incoming and an outgoing call when incoming calls are routed to voice mail, even if no message is left.

Text Messaging:

GSM service enables both incoming and outgoing text messaging capability. Text messages will be billed per message incoming and outgoing, unless customer is enrolled in a bulk plan. Blocking service is available upon request.
Multimedia Messaging: Customers wanting this service will need to contact our office to request the service. Plans are available for individual messages as well as bulk messaging.
